Made according to a traditional recipe, this digestive liquor is made from an infusion of botanicals including: gentian, gentian, wormwood, yarrow nutmeg, genepì, germander) collected on the slopes of Mount Noveis, which rises between the Valsesia and Sessera Valleys in the north-east of Piedmont.
Antico Amaro Noveis is additionally flavoured with infusions of cinchona, rhubarb, sweet and bitter orange, liquorice and anise. The blend is married in oak casks for a short period prior to bottling.

Appearance:
Clear, coppery amber with burgundy red glints.
Aroma:
Eucalyptus, caramel, liquorice, mint, morello cherry and pine.
Taste:
Perfectly balanced herbal bitterness, caramel, butterscotch and liquorice with light honey. Pine, eucalyptus and spice counter slight syrupiness.
Aftertaste:
Long lasting caramel and mild spice.
Overall:
Herbal bitterness perfectly balances butterscotch and caramel in this delicious amaro. Fabulously after a hearty meal.
