This pilsner came about due to a collaboration between Camel Valley’s winemaker, Sam Lindo and Sharp’s head brewer Andrew Madden. The beer was aged on a bed of Saaz leaf hops for 40 days, and was then bottled at Camel Valley winery with Champagne wine yeast. After a secondary fermentation in the...
bottle, as with champagne and some other sparkling wines, Sam removed the sediment under pressure, before ageing in Camel Valley’s temperature controlled cellars.

Cloudy, pale sandy yellow with a thick and retentive off-white head with spotted lacing.
A subdued nose but with a strong yeasty influence. Some flinty minerality.
Light to medium-bodied. White bread and flour with yeasty white wine-like notes.
Yeasty white bready notes continue through the subtle finish with light cleansing acidity.
A light pilsner with a heavy champagne wine yeast influence. Interesting, refreshing and most pleasant.
