Distilled at the Foursquare Distillery, St. Philip, Barbados, this aged rum uses a blend of pot and column distilled rums which have been aged in ex-bourbon and ex-madeira casks.

For those that don’t read the celebrity columns, Mahiki is a traditional Polynesian themed Tiki bar in London’s West End and it is a paparazzi’s dream. According to tiki legend the word Mahiki derives from a traditional one, meaning entrance to the underworld. If you have ever been down the stairs into the bar you’ll realise how appropriate the name is. Famed as being a hangout for the rich, beautiful and famous, Mahiki is also renowned for its rum-laced Tropical drinks and ‘pieces of eight’ treasure chest cocktail.

Originally made as the house rum for London’s Mahiki by Richard Seale at Foursquare Distillery, Barbados. Packaging for the Mahiki range of rums was designed by Roger Clarke, who Jules describes himself as a “Bajan surfer dude business man”. He also owns Associates Caribbean Inc., one of Barbados' award winning design firms.
