Pronounced ‘Ack-Ash-Ee-Tie Hon-Joe-Zo Gen-Shoe’, ‘genshu’ means natural strength and this sake actually comes from the same tank as Akashi-Tai’s Honjozo but this undiluted version has a much fuller palate.

Appearance

Clear, very pale green.

Aroma

Resembles green apple, freshly cut beef with faint soy sauce and woody pine.

Taste

Creamy mouthfeel with crisp acidity, green apple and notes reminiscent of freshly cut pine.

Aftertaste

Fresh slightly acidic crisp finish.
