Crystal clear.
Pungent. Blanched and toasted almond, wet slate, cement, milk chocolate, and overripe pear skin (ethyl acetate).
Initial white pepper spice fades to reveal coconut water, white chocolate and ripe pear.
Long peppery spiced finish. Touch of hairspray and lingering tarry notes.
There's an attractive earthy rawness to this very characterful spirit which will appeal to mezcal drinkers. Delicate notes of coconut water, white chocolate and ripe pear. Even some tar in the finish for Islay whisky fans. A spirit that will be challenging for some and very rewarding for others.
