A blend of Italian white wines with Indonesian coffee extract. Mancino Kopi Vermouth is said to be "medium sweet with bitter Robusta notes and a tiramisu nose. Light brew coffee colour."
The Robusta beans are sourced from Java and are dark roasted in Naples by Barbera Caffè. Mancino Kopi Vermouth contains 0.5% coffee.
Sampled on 08/06/2024
Clear, coppery amber.
Vermouth-soaked tiramisu.
Cold-brew coffee flavours combine harmoniously with the vermouth to the extent that the coffee appears to amplify the vermouth notes.
Long, bittersweet, pleasing finish.
Coffee-infused vermouth might appear a strange concept, but, as they say, don't knock it until you try it. It's actually very tasty and great served in the early evening over ice.
