This dark chocolate liqueur is based on a cacao infusion with some added caramel for colour. (Unlike Lejay's Cacao Blanc liqueur, no cacao distillate is used).

Appearance:

Clear, teak brown with burnished copper highlights.

Aroma:

Pungent cacao nibs with earthy note, coal dust and faint mocha.

Taste:

Powerful rich cacao and milk chocolate flavours with syrupy mouthfeel and black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering dry cacao and black pepper spice with subtle tiramisu and PX sherry note.
