Made by distilling botanicals separately in batches and then blending the batches together, this Swiss gin is double-aged in 225 litre casks that originally held Cocchi Barolo before being used for Cocchi vermouth.

Appearance:

(sample bottle No. 984 from 1465) Clear, pale to mid-golden amber.

Aroma:

Peach, verbena, piney juniper and grassy forest ferns.

Taste:

Piney juniper, mild spice, lime zest and subtle nutty woodiness.

Aftertaste:

Cleansing pine, spice and zesty citrus with sweet salad leaf-like notes.

Overall:

Brilliantly fresh and vibrant with a delicate hint of nutty woodiness from the casks this Swiss gin was aged in. An outstanding example of a barrel aged gin.
