Released in September 2015 “in strictly limited quantities”, this single grain whisky was distilled at the Port Dundas Distillery, Glasgow, which closed in 2010.
While single grain whisky produced at Port Dundas has been used in third-party bottlings such as Douglas Laing’s Old Particular range, this is the first distillery bottling, outside of Diageo’s Special Releases. A 12 year old Port Dundas was also released alongside this 18 year old.
Sampled on 10/11/2015
