Ingredients:
60 gram Watermelon (fresh) chopped wedges
2 fl oz Ketel One Vodka
13 fl oz Strucchi Bianco Vermouth chilled
13 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
1 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered watermelon cube.

How to make:

  1. MUDDLE 60g / 2.1oz watermelon flesh (removed from skin and chopped) in base of shaker.
  2. Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. Garnish with skewered watermelon cube.

Review:

Vodka-laced, fruity watermelon with delicate herbal complexity. It might be fruity, but with its vermouth notes, this cocktail remains dry and spirit-forward enough to justify the "Vodkatini" name.
