Serve in a

Coupe glass

Garnish:

White flower (Dianthus caryophyllus)

How to make:

Shake all the ingredients and double strain directly into the coupe glass with a Himalayan pink salt rim.

40 ml Patrón Silver blanco tequila
10 ml Martini Riserva Speciale Bitter
10 ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
15 ml Rose sugar syrup

Origin:

Rosalia is the name of my take on the Margarita. It is dedicated to women, taking inspiration from the patronness of my city, Palermo.

Women are a central theme in the development of this cocktail and this idea draws from the month that has just gone by. January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, an important issue to tackle among women and girls like me. This is an opportunity to give my Patrón Margarita a stronger purpose and meaning.

Rosalia is aesthetically elegant and feminine with a delicate floral scent of rose and a bright pink colour like the ribbon that we wear to raise cancer awareness. Rosalia is a Margarita that enhances the classic fruity and herbaceous notes of Patrón Silver by contrasting and balancing it out with bitter aromas, floral scents and pungent lemon juice.

The result is a fragrant, delicate and, all the same, decisive cocktail. Just like women. The garnish is a white Carnation flower that simply and elegantly floats on the drink.
