Serve in a

Old-fashioned glass

Garnish:

Gomhasio (salted and grilled sesame seeds) and a seasonal edible flower (optional)

How to make:

Prepare all your ingredients and before extracting the lime juice peel your lime and keep the zest. Put all your ingredients in your shaker (if you don't have one you can use a jam pot) add some ice and shake it well until there is foam. Fine strain your cocktail into an old fashioned glass with ice. Express your lime zest and discard and add your Gomhasio and a seasonal flower if you want a touch of colour. Enjoy your Plum Blossom!

40 ml Patrón Silver blanco tequila
30 ml Umeshu plum sake (see new Umeshu replacement)
10 ml Orange blossom water / Orange flower water
15 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
10 ml Honey

Origin:

This cocktail is inspired by the flavours of my childhood in Morocco with the orange blossom water, the honey and the gomhasio.

I've also been inspired by Japanese culture ever since I can remember, so the use of Umeshu was for me evidence of that.

All of that combined with Patrón Silver tequila gives you a taste of memories that blossom delicately in the mind and palate.
