Express the oils of a fresh Amalfi lemon peel over the drink and discard. Garnish with a long lemon zest spiral and a small, fresh sprig of thyme tucked into the twist.
The Rim:
Moisten a small section (approx. 1/4) of the rim of a chilled coupe glass with a lemon wedge.
Dip it into a fine mixture of sea salt and dried lemon zest to create a delicate Botanical Dust rim.
The Shake:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Fill with plenty of solid ice and shake vigorously for about 12 seconds to achieve the perfect aeration and dilution.
The Strain:
Double strain the mixture (using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh tea strainer) into the prepared glass to ensure a crystal-clear, elegant texture.
