The entry level calvados in the Daron range, it is made with several varieties of Normandy-grown apples which are fermented, the cider slowly distilled in copper pot stills and then the distillate aged in Limousin oak casks.

The apple trees used in the production of Daron Calvados grow in orchards on the chalky, clay soil in the region north of Pays d'Auge. Several varieties of bitter and sweet cider apple are used: Bisquets, Bedan, Petit Joly, and St Martin. The orchards are also planted with a small number of pear trees, used to add further character to Daron calavodos.

Daron Fine is aged an average of five years in small oak casks in warehouses with traditional earth floors.

Όψη:

Clear, pale-mid golden amber with burnished copper highlights.

Μύτη:

Wonderfully barrel-fresh cider untainted by too much oak with baked apple and pear drops with walnut, raison and vanilla.

cider, baked apple pie, poached pear, hot white pepper, ginger and cinnamon spice with delicate buttery oak and plump sultanas, biscotti and vanilla.

Apple-cider, baked apple and pear with ginger, cinnamon, cracked black pepper spice and spicy banana cake. A young, fresh-styled calvados with relatively light oak so perfectly suited to use in cocktails.
