Founded in 1702, Pierre Ferrand is the 6th largest producer in the Cognac region (also makes Landy Cognac). Pierre Ferrand is unusual amongst Cognac houses controls the entire process, from the 100 per cent Grande Champagne estate-grown grapes, to distillation on the lees, blending and ageing in 270 litre Limousin oak casks.
Owned and run by the affable Alexandre Gabriel, Cognac Pierre Ferrand is headquartered in the 18th century Château de Bonbonnet in the ‘golden triangle’ of the Grande Champagne, just 10 kms from the centre of the town of Cognac. The estates vineyards lie around and close to the Château.
