Launched early 2019, Bacardi Spiced replaces Bacardi Oakheart and the two products are extensively the same, but with Spiced better dovetailing into the Bacardi range. "Made with rum, aged and unaged, mixed with a secret blend of mellow vanilla flavours, and natural nutmeg and cinnamon spices."

Όψη:

Clear, burnished coppery amber.

Μύτη:

Vanilla and spicy Eccles cake (pastry, baked currants and raisins, cinnamon and clove).

Στόμα:

Light-bodied and slightly sweet. Cinnamon, clove and black pepper spice with smoothing vanilla fudge.

Επίγευση:

Medium length finish with cracked black pepper, vanilla, spice and fudge.

Συνολική αίσθηση:

Lightly spiced easy-drinking with just enough richness rather than being overly sweet. It's a shame this is a mere "spirit drink" at 35% alc./vol. rather than being fully fledged 40% spiced rum.
