Launched in 1996 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Santa Teresa and named in honour of the brand's founder, Alberto J. Vollmer. This molasses rum is a blend of pot and column distilled rums which have been aged using a solera system. Annual production is limited to just 1,000 bottles.

Appearance:

(bottle number 3624) Deep bronze with copper highlights.

Aroma:

Orange zest, balasa wood/timber yard/old leather, peanut butter, sherry, eucalyptus and boat yard varnish.

Taste:

Dry yet silky. Espresso coffee, bitter chocolate, orange zest and overripe banana.

Aftertaste:

Dry, bitter chocolate, mocha coffee, spicy old oak finish.
