The casks from which this blend comprises are ten of 14 casks purchased by an individual on an annual basis and left to mature at the Glenfarclas were they lay forgotten. Eventually he sold them back to Glenfarclas and this vatting was produced

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Christmas cake, spicy oak, buttery vanilla, fresh mint leaves and faint aniseed.

Taste:

Big and rich with toffee, vanilla, butterscotch and candyfloss balanced by oaky sap wood and spearmint freshness.

Aftertaste:

Long, delicate spiced cedarwood. Well balanced and refined.
