Clear, deep coppery amber.
Pungent. Nutty, maple wood and rye toast with salted caramel and nutmeg. Water reveals wood varnish and vanilla fudge.
Full-bodied and rich with gripping cinnamon and clove spiced rye, maple syrup and toffee apple. Takes water well with elegant spice rising from faintly smoky maple wood and a hint of liquorice stick.
Long finish with cinnamon rye toast and baked apple. Overall: Rich, generous and comparable to the best of the American ryes but with European elegance.
