Review and Tasting

Sampled on 14/08/2012

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden with small persistent bubbles.

Aroma:

Well done toast and toasted almonds with green apple, nougat and developed yeasty notes which unusually, present as faint notes of rare bloody steak and mushrooms.

Taste:

Quite bright with zingy citrus – not the rounded champagne the nose might suggest but intensely classy and refreshing.

Aftertaste:

Unripe fruit, tart lemony citrus zesty, lemon curd finish. Fades with the tang lemon sherbet.
