Marking the 100th anniversary of the classic cocktail, the Singapore Sling in 2015, Cherry Heering has launched two competitions; the annual Sling Award and ‘Here’s to the Tiger’.

While the closing date for the Sling Award has now passed (details here) you still have time to enter ‘Here’s to the Tiger’. The closing date for entries is 30 June.

Open to bars around the world, the objective is to raise money to support the Panthera Organization which works to save the world's tigers and other wild cats through "scientific leadership and global conservation action."

How to enter your bar

1. Compose a Sling menu consisting of three Sling cocktails including the classic Singapore Sling. Obviously the drinks must include Cherry Heering.

2. Upload a photograph of your Slings and their recipes to Cherry Heering's website before 30 June 2015.

3. You may optionally also decide on a charitable sum per Sling cocktail served to your guests from your Here's To The Tigers Sling Menu and donate this to the Panthera Organization. The bar with the overall largest sum donated to the tigers, and the bar with the largest sum donated based on bar capacity during the month of June 2015 will each win a fantastic trip for two people to Singapore, a stay in the Raffles Hotel where it all started and a chance to get up close with the tigers.
