Post-seasons greetings...The Old White Bell celebrates Mix with Britvic competition win!

Back in December 2024, the industry leading training programme, Mix with Britvic, went on a mission to bring some festive joy to the hospitality sector. Christmas and New Year remain key periods for venues serving drinks, as more consumers are out and about to celebrate. As a result, Mix with Britvic understood that staff were set to experience a hectic and stressful time.

So, with the aim of giving back, the brand launched its exclusive Christmas competition. The prize? Rewarding one lucky outlet with £2,000 towards their team's party, and a Mix with Britvic pop up bar at the event. Filled with long mixed drinks, cocktails, mocktails, highballs and more – the pop-up bar and cash prize provided them with a festive night to remember after the mad rush of Christmas.

The winner was James Buter, operator at The Old White Bell in Norfolk. Hosting the party at his venue, James got his team together in January to reward them for their outstanding work, commenting:

"Winning this Christmas party for my team was absolutely amazing! The £2,000 towards the celebration, along with the Mix with Britvic pop-up bar completed the night. The atmosphere was great, with music, dancing and some post-festive vibes. The bar had a nice selection of cocktails and mocktails, so it had something for everyone.

"The best part was seeing my team relax and enjoy themselves after such a hardworking year. Watching everyone laugh and raise a glass together was so rewarding. It wasn't just a party, it was a chance to say thank you to an amazing group of people in the best way possible. I'm so grateful for this experience... it made our belated Christmas party celebration extra special!"
