Transport yourself from the King's Road to the Day of the Dead stylings of the Azteca Latin Lounge, which boasts Chelsea's largest (actually one of London's largest) collection of tequila and mezcal, with more than 70 different varieties.

This hole-in-the-wall venue is anything but Chelsea: it's friendly, down-to-earth and an as authentic an immersion into Mexico as you're going to get in these parts, staffed and run by Mexicans. Sometimes they squeeze in live bands and DJs are a regular feature.

Sadly, all those tequilas have not made it on to the cocktail list and only manifest themselves in the Margarita. We found all our cocktails overly sweet. Stick to tequila served on its own - they are far more able to talk you through the range and maybe even educate you in the ways of the agave. The food is authentic and extremely tasty.
