Review

The Mojo legend started years before Austin Powers lost his. As the bar's own website succinctly puts it, "Jesus put his renowned carpentry skills to great use when he helped build the first ever MOJO. He also loved to get smashed off his face there on holy Mojitos. Praise the Lord!"

This Mancunian branch of the legendary rock & roll bar, like the Leeds original, is a place to get downright dirty. An extremely mixed crowd pack in to enjoy the holiday atmosphere, driven by loud eclectic music and shots under black & white prints of rock stars.

Mojo is unsophisticated in the extreme. It is simply a fun place and the drinks reflect this. Although Mally and the boys are extremely proficient mixologists, delicate Martinis just don't fit Mojo's image. Instead chunky glasses of fruity cocktails generously charged with liquor vie with some excellent bottled beers between rounds of shots.

We score Mojo highly due to consistently having one of the best atmospheres of any bar we know in the world.
