Review

While note exactly a theme pub it would be fair to say this pub is dedicated to American whiskey and bourbon, even the food has a distinctly Southern leaning with chilli burgers and Cajun chicken amongst the offerings.

The whisky menu is impressive with over fifty bourbons including rare and small batch bottlings. Order a Jack here and you'll be drinking from bottles filled from the pub's own cask of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel but priced more affordably than most bars sell plain old JD.

Naturally the limited range of cocktails are bourbon based and include Old Fashioned, Mint Julep and Manhattan. Being part of the Pleasure Group of pubs there is also a changing selection of four cask ales and fifteen well priced wines by the glass.

The book shelves and decor may appear a tad contrived but this cosy local offers the chance to chase a pint of ale with fabulous whiskies making it a must visit for bourbon aficionados.
