Double distilled in a copper pot still in a distillery in Ocotlan (NOM-011X), just outside of Oaxaca City. This 100% agave (Espadín variety) is aged in American oak barrels for 10-12 months.

Appearance:
Clear, pale straw.
Aroma:
Fruity toffee-apple/raison nose with notes of tar and stewed pear.
Taste:
Slightly oily with warm woody notes, vanilla and buttery corn-the-cob.
Aftertaste:
Very slight smokiness to an almost whisky-like finish.
