Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/01/2015

Appearance:

(sample best before 04/May/15) Opaque, deep ebony with very thick but quickly diminishing beige head leaving heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Chocolate and mocha with light farmyard dungy aromas.

Taste:

Dry, moderatly bitter with heavily toasty/burnt grain with chocolate, liquorice and nuts.

Aftertaste:

Chocolate and liquorice with toasted malt. Overall: With just 2.8% alc./vol. this is a very flavoursome porter.
