This characterful American pilsner is brewed with Two Row German malts and flavoured with whole flower German and Czech hops.

Appearance:

Hazy, pale sandy yellow with moderate but retentive white head with spotted lacing.

Aroma:

White baguette crust, floral hops and cracked black pepper.

Taste:

Earthy elderflower, white baguette crust, white grapefruit zest and pine with faint pear.

Aftertaste:

Crisp, lightly bitter floral and grassy hop finish.

Overall:

The hop flower illustration on the label of Prima is an indication of what to expect, a heavily hoped pilsner which is also surprisingly malty.
