Review and Tasting

Sampled on 17/10/2016

Appearance:

(sample bottle BB 29/Jan/19) Clear, deep burgundy red.

Aroma:

Rose blossom and Turkish delight with hints of blackberry and raspberry jam.

Taste:

Turkish delight and rose water. Faint soapy and cooked jammy raspberry notes.

Aftertaste:

Rose water, Turkish delight and icing sugar.

Overall:

Darker red in colour than other comparatively pink-coloured rose syrups. Perhaps with faint notes of red berry and chocolate rather than out-and-out rose petal.
