Freya is made from the sap of the birch tree which is harvested annually in early spring. The sap is frozen to keep it fresh until required. The fermented sap is distilled in copper pot stills.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Cream-of-soda vanilla and peppery spice.

Taste:

Tequila-like with white and black pepper spice and cream-of-soda/vanilla ice-cream. Faint sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Minerally with delicate white pepper and vanilla.

Overall:

Surprisingly tequila-like with vanilla and peppery spice.
