Appearance:

Hazy, amber.

Aroma:

Pungent, stewed rhubarb and tinned rhubarb.

Taste:

Lightly sweetened rich cooked rhubarb but retaining some balancing rhubarb tartness. Invigorated by light peppery spirituous spice.

Aftertaste:

Lightly black pepper spiced rich rhubarb.

Overall:

In Europe the 35% alc./vol. makes this officially a "spirit drink" rather than a vodka but what it lacks in alcohol it makes up for in rich natural tasting rhubarb flavour. Well balanced with just a hint of sweetness.
