Review and Tasting

Sampled on 28/06/2021

Appearance:

Cloudy - slightly milky, yellow - reminiscent of fresh lemon juice.

Aroma:

Pungent lemon zest, lemon pie filling with cleansing pine freshness.

Taste:

Tart citrus acidity with an assertive spirituous spice alcohol bite. Zest lemon flavour.

Aftertaste:

Long zesty lemon finish.

Overall:

More punchy than most limoncellos - both in terms of citrus acidity bite and alcohol strength-related spice but without the accompanying high sugar content to balance and soften. Screams for more sugar.
