A bottle-fermented wheat beer made the traditional way, allowing three to four weeks for the yeast to mature and brewed in accordance to the Bavarian Purity Law.
Sampled on 05/09/2011
Slightly cloudy, pale amber yellow with creamy white head.
Yeasty, banana and clove nose with doughy French stick bread aromas and floral hops.
Yeasty, citrus palate with faint clove spice is inoffensive but decidedly mellow with a thick creamy mouthfeel.
Cracked black pepper spice emerges in the very lightly spiced, subtlety overripe banana-flavoured finish.
