Delicious! Made with patxaran since I didn’t have sloe gin here. Really sweet and refreshing with a darker undercurrent in the distance…. lovely starter

Nice. Less sweet than I was expecting with balanced Calvados and Sloe gin flavours with the lemon adding a bit of zip!

Surprisingly punchy drink. I found calvados leads with autumnal spiced apple followed by winter berries. Quite dry but very quafable still.

With my products I would reduce the lemon juice next time, or, as I use a handpress juicer, omit the lemon zest twist.

Agreed. Indeed your comment led me to revisit the original recipe (now included above) and to amend my own interpretation. Now a better cocktail.
