It is worth noting that Charles Bukowski was born on this day - one of the most famous drunken writers. Barfly, released in 1987, is a semi-autobiographical film written by Bukowski and starring Mickey Rourke as Henry Chinaski.
We named our bar after this outstanding drinker - THE BUK BAR
