I’m glad I read what Simon said…..I’ve always wondered if using a vacuum system and refrigerating (or not) would have a bearing …I own a Coravin…wondering if you could use this on screw bottles as they have add on screw tops for their system!?
I recently acquired a Coravin pivot, which has reusable stoppers that you use to replace whatever closure the bottle came with. Working well so far, though I still keep my vermouths and amari in the fridge. They claim keeps wine for a month (no mention of needing to refrigerate) , so I imagine vermouth will keep for several months. Have only had it about six weeks now. Handy and easy to use.
