Did you use just 75ml in a 10oz Highball or more in a Collins glass?

I did one and a half the quantities above to get a full highball, so the ratio stayed the same. I think it's just a style preference, I'm used to more pronounced flavours.

Agreed. I feared overly dilute due to topping up with soda in a larger glass but, as you say, ratio was retained.
