I did not, John. It's been awhile since I've had an actual variety of sherry on hand. Fino does sound like a better choice though. I won't make this again until I have some.

Yeah I specifically bought a few and did a little comparative tasting in the last couple of weeks - paid the bit extra for some nice ones. Really loving the Tio Pepe fino. We had it with tapas for my birthday party and it just disappeared!
