Martini-like but with delicate liqueur richness. Lightly spicy and faintly nutty

A beautifully delicate and balanced cocktail. But we added a single drop of celery bitters to bring it down from the clouds and back to earth.

Important to get the micro balancing right on this one - curse the stupid dasher on the bitters bottle! As described, delicate and subtly spicy.

Delicious. Also tried it with triple sec instead of maraschino, nowhere near as good

This martini style cocktail works for me. Probably because it isn’t bone dry & also has a lovely slightly nutty flavour.
Enjoying it after a full blown roast dinner & wondering about having another :-)
