I honestly think you could replace the bourbon with rum. It would up the rum flavours and dampen the vanilla/coconut flavours, without damaging the balance the cocktail. Aside from that it's a surprisingly pleasant Caribbean riff on a Negroni albeit a bit sweet compared to a regular one. The coconut is absolutely present without dominating, playing nicely with the Campari.

This is really good. Also a great base for a playground. Next one I’ll try a bit of rum with some funk. Love it!
