Is the 1/12 (one twelfth) of a fluid ounce measure of grenadine correct? (I did check that the metric is a scant 2.5mL as well). Does that basically mean a barspoon? I don't think I've commonly seen such a small measurement for grenadine. Is this a typo for 1/2 (one half) fluid ounce?

For comparison, most other recipes (including Punch Drink, Jim Meehan in the New York Times, and the Raffles Hotel variant included on this site) specify 1/4 fluid ounce of grenadine.

Hi Andrew. Yes, it is correct. Our Easy Jigger allows such small measures. 5ml 1/6oz = 1 bar spoon, 2.5ml 1/12oz = 1/2 bar spoon, 1.25ml 1/24oz = 1/4 bar spoon or 4 dashes.
