In the 2025–2026 edition of the book, the recipe says to use lime. I’ve tried both, and I prefer it with lemon, but which one is the correct recipe?

So it's basically a Florentine Margarita. Perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. Is there no history to its creation?

Or, perhaps better said, a Florentine Sidecar. Either way, or just as Florence, one of our favourite sours.

It is a unique cocktail. Even though I don’t have top of line Grappa like John recommended. It exceeds my expectation. I will definitely make it again.

Great cocktail. Hints of the lemon and orange with the grappa adding a nice punch to the cocktail. Key with this is to use a very good grappa - one you would drink neat or on the rocks.
