Other brands of génépi liqueur are widely available internationally and are now often used in place of Chartreuse.

Hi Simon. I love your website. Is it possible for you to post more information about substitutions for liqueurs not easily available in the USA? I am in the second largest metro area in the USA,and I still have trouble finding products such as the green or yellow chartreuse,some gins,and liqueurs.
I know it is possible to substitute,but I am not sure which is the best substitute for the flavor profile you suggest. Thank you

Oddly enough, I have Chartreuse. If I’d seen Chartreuse in the recipe, I would have given it a close look. Now, I will look at it again. Thank you.
