I used a really pedestrian amaretto and this was still magnifico. Having just made the Loch Almond, my idea of adding 2 dashes of ginger bitters paid off in this one. Do what you wish.

Islay whisky, amaretto and ginger ale are thugs who are used to being the main event. But in this case, they all play nicely together and everything is good.
