Thank you for this guide. Note that there's also the Old Bay Ridge cocktail named after a Brooklyn neighborhood, created by David Wondrich. It is basically an old-fashioned made from a split base of Aquavit and Rye whiskey. Very nice!

I've added the Bay Ridge above (coincidentally only photographed yesterday) and I'll also try David's Old Bay Ridge with a view to also adding that as soon as I've made for Dan to photo. Thanks for the clarification.

I believe you are referring to a different cocktail! The one I am thinking about is referenced here. According to the author of the article, it seems to be David Wondrich's creation.

Hi--thanks for a great tour of NYC. I'm working my way down the list.

The lack of a cocktail for Staten Island is a shame. May I suggest the Richmond Gimlet? Richmond County is the same land mass as Staten Island, and the island was called "Richmond" on many early maps of the boroughs.

Many thanks John. I've added a reference and link to the Richmond Gimlet above.

Awesome, beautiful guide, but just FYI, Little Italy is in Manhattan. :-)
