Reminiscent of a Vodka Gimlet, but with basil. Simple and elegant. I used Bone Black 104 proof vodka.

Perfectly herbaceous! I often find that I want to up the herb quantities in cocktails like this, but the simplicity of the other ingredients let's the basil shine in this cocktail made as per the instructions. Light, refreshing and totally delicious! (Wash House).

Went to try this one with some reservations. Used as a aperitivo with an Italian dinner evening. Drink has a hint of sweetness, but still a bit dry. Lime add a citrus hint, but when you mix it all with the basil you get hints of anise and some nice bitter vegial tastes at the end. Perfect.
