No unaged rye in my cupboard, substituted half-half genever as rye spirit seems to have strong bready notes, and half Rowan berry infused rye spirit by Moe from Estonia (which was in stock this evening). Otherwise as described. Highly complex and last word-like. Possibly too many flavours here. Help!!

No bother with unaged rye spirit. Just use st george dry rye gin and be prepared for one of the best cocktail in your life.

Thanks Simon. I’ll have a look for that. I’ve done a google search and it’s come up with one from Buffalo Trace that’s available in the U.K. Cheers.

Hi Lee. I've added a link to one and that will also act as a path to others if you follow the "See more rye spirit" on the next page. I suspect there are also numerious good American examples masquerading as "unaged rye whiskies" that I've not yet tried.

Amazingly refreshing ,not sweet at all as I had thought. I used Rittinghaus Rye as I did not have un aged rye.

I have added this to my Favorites! Great after dinner
