Espresso Martini

My tweaks based on this lead me to 1oz each Ketel One, Vanilla Vodka, Mr Black, shot of fresh espresso (1.5 oz), shaken aggressively for as much foam as possible, discarded lemon twist now a necessity. Also good splitting the coffee liqueur with Averna, a touch of crème de cacao, and an orange twist.

I prefer the Grind vs Mr Black. Less sweet and more coffee flavor.

I’m impressed. The Tequila, lime and cassis all shine thru. The subtle smell of the tequila is amazing. I mixed in a glass with ice then top with soda followed by a light stir.
I will add to my list of favorites

Simon your recipe list asks for 7.5 ml or 1.5 tbs 7.5 ml of matcha powder. Down below your annotation suggests 1/4 tsp or 1.25 ml of matcha powder which after following the instructions would be more appropriate. Also a dark carcaco is preferred as specified. I used a chocolate liqueur Borgata as a substitute which I would not recommend. I will restock and try again with dark Caraco and 1/4 tsp of matcha your published recipe should be corrected

Wonderful as prescribed. The proper dilution with a little added water fully develops the wonderful drink. I’m cautious of lemons and limes as the consistency varies greatly. I’m a shaker for this drink and drop one Lexardo cherry in the bottom with a small amount of cherry syrup as a nest. No need to stir

Following the Holidays, This is still a wonderful drink. I have been using a coffee liqueur The “Grind” that has a good strong coffee taste and less sugar.
Browsing my favorites list we tried again and it is worthy of a try!

Very enjoyable drink. I too use Evan Williams bottled in bond 100 proof. The mix as specified is very enjoyable. On ice and mellowing a few minutes allows this drink to mature into a very enjoy after dinner delight.

Great drink. Light favorable, pretty. I used 1/2 lemon 1/2 egg white Gordon’s Gin and blended all with immersion blender prior to adding ice. Shake with ice and Poured the glass expressed the lemon and topped with a raspberry
Just a great before dinner drink.

I cut the watermelon into 30 mm cubes and used 3 pieces to the shaker including all ingredients. Then meddled followed by a 30 second shake. Just like eating the fruit. Good very tasty, but I’m missing a cocktail taste. I tried the watermelon martini as prescribed but found it a bit tart. And slightly artificial. I’m thinking some muddled fruit in the watermelon martini will be trick yo an exceptionally fine cocktail.

I used Cruzan light rum, peachtree and lime. I adjusted the lime a bit so a slightly sweet peach flavor remained. Use a juicy ripe peach soft to the touch but not over ripe. Excellent

Simon your recipe as written for Vesper Martini and in your video do not mesh. Altering the recipe to state 2x lillet blanc would simply my finger math. I am a big fan of your website. I really appreciate your commitment to discerning drinkers. Look me up if you ever get to Florida

Awesome drink using yellow or red seedless watermelon.
Simon you really need to try this. Using juices or American sour mix it is refreshing and enjoyable on a hot summer afternoon.
Freeze enough watermelon chunks to avoid using ice in this cocktail !

My execution of the dry shake and topping of the cream mix was personally disappointing but the flavor was good. We enjoyed an after dinner drink. Ginger seasoned lamb lion chops with mushroom infused beef broth rice.
