How to make:

STIR bourbon with three ice cubes (dry to the touch well-frozen ice, not wet ice) in a glass. Add rye whiskey, sugar syrup, bitters and two more ice cubes. STIR some more and add another two ice cubes. And if you have room, add more ice before serving.

1 12 fl oz Bourbon whiskey
1 fl oz Straight bottled-in-bond rye whiskey
13 fl oz Demerara sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water)
9 drop Bob's Abbotts Bitters
