I recommend using less cream to highlight the coffee.
1/2 the recipe amount or 1/3 oz

Following the Holidays, This is still a wonderful drink. I have been using a coffee liqueur The “Grind” that has a good strong coffee taste and less sugar.
Browsing my favorites list we tried again and it is worthy of a try!

IMO one drop or two of chocolate bitters further improves it

Great after dinner drink. Creamy balanced easy to enjoy. On ice or straight up. A good choice. I used 1/2 & 1/2 for all the milk contents.

Just followed your lead and simplified the recipe so just half-and-half/single cream.
